Hi, I expect Nizamuddin a community living residential area where a Safe Secure Clean Green Quiet and pollution free environment exists.People behave in a civilised and responsible manner with each other and our staffs.A place where the young and old enjoy a stress free and healthy lifestyle,a place where everyone is smiling and greeting each other as family members.Therefore it boils down to -Secure Gated colony, Green parks, Clean Sidewalks and Roads, adherence to the System in place for Garbage Disposal and a Civic sense in all of us to make it happen .🙏🏻 To quote Tagore ‘“Where the mind is without fear. and the head is held high, where knowledge is free. Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls.’into that world let our Nizamuddin West grow.

I look forward to a Nizamuddin West where residents have a sense of belonging not just to the space within their four walls but also outside – the area of their colony, their city, their country – and keep it clean. A colony where a walk after dinner is possible without fear – not just of delinquents but also of stepping into muck or tripping on a badly maintained path. And I would love an entrance to the colony which is more beautiful- not a grand gate or anything but in keeping with the simplicity of our colony – perhaps flowers in the divide on the road as we enter and a neater look to the facade of the market. Finally – residents and market shop owners should take responsibility to train their staff for cleanliness and the RWA should inform owners of any laxity.

My dream nizamuddin will be drugs free ,crime free ,pollution free…in short like umar bhai’s idea

Parks are still more attractive to kids than technology especially for boys. I have been longing for beautiful green, dogs free and love affairs free park in Nizamuddin West for my kids. This is my vision; To see my son playing the sport of his choice..soccer/badminton/cricket and my 6 years daughter swinging on those small colourful rides. I also have a vision of a safe Nizamnuddin where I can send my kids out to the parks without the fear of them being beaten up or bullied by some miscreants while I can relax and take a nap in my home without the responsibility of keeping a watch on them for an hour or 2
